Russian RGD-33 Grenade, WWII era.
I tried to make a vfx variant that could be disassembled for closeup shots and a gameready one. Materials have been made with in mind the scope of being as close as possible on the two different models, in spite having different UVs and topology. The VFX model is split in 3 pieces with each it's own texture maps, while the gameready version is one single piece with one single UV set.
Improvements could be made on the Normal maps, specially on the internal part of the VFX Frag shield and in general all AO maps could use some improving as the self occlusion is nice to have but darkens too much some areas.
The VFX model could use some more tris to better make use of casted shadows.
